The technology in this video is the whole reason why tons of people go out and learn to use Photoshop and/or the GIMP: LINK

It takes measurements of the lighting and prominent shapes and colors in an image to decide where it can remove lines or clone lines to shape ad resize pictures. I am amazed at what I’m seeing in the demo. I wonder how much it will end up costing, and if maybe there would be an option to run in server-side, like GD or ImageMagick. If so, that would enable some really nice “web 2.0″ live effects.

The option to remove people or parts of people, and resize and reshape like this could change a lot of things, taking away some constraints that the web has been working around for decades.
